Q – How does it work?

Q – Where’s the provider’s phone number?

A – Customers will receive the contact information for their chosen Service Provider after they have made a connection and purchased service. At any time you have a question you can ask here

Q – Why is Service Connection® free?

A – Because we're awesome! No really, there is NO subscription to buy, NO list to sign up for, NO trial account you have to figure out how to cancel later. It’s just free..free to search for providers, free to get a price, and free to make a connection. Now of course you do have to pay for the actual service, but come on we got you this far. But, it doesn't stop there, We are here to help with questions, scheduling, payments, concerns, really anything.. except algebra. sometimes we have to draw the line.

Q – What happens with my information? Do you sell it? Am I going to get a bunch of advertisements?

A – It’s safe and stays with us, No and No. Your information is used for the sole purpose of completing your service request, it is only accessible to us and the Service Provider you have authorized.

Q – When and how do I pay?

A – Once you have found a Service Provider and have agreed on a price and appointment date. You will then pay the entire agreed amount directly to Service Connection®, this secures the date and time slot with the Service Provider. Funds are held in escrow until the job is complete and you are satisfied. Not to worry, you can request a full refund up to the day of the appointment. (See the Terms & Conditions)
Payments are accepted securely online by credit/debit card or through Paypal. If you need help with this just let us know.

Q – I need to change or cancel my service request.

A – You can discuss either of these directly with your Service Provider or a Service Manager. The change can me made or added to the order. Keep in mind that a change to the scope of work may change the price to complete.

Q – How do I know the Service Provider is qualified/certified/trustworthy?

A – Service Provider profiles contain all of the information you would need to make an educated decision about who to use. Providers have either been phone interviewed, reference, and qualification checked/approved by an authorized Service Connection® agent or have completed Service Connection® approved online instruction and testing.

Q – The service I need is not listed or there is not a Service Provider in my area.

A – If the service is not listed or there is not a service provider in your area click here and let us know. We would be happy to help with either.

Q – What if I am not happy with the service?

A – Well now this is awkward… If you're not happy lets get to the bottom of it together. Is it a miscommunication? Was the scope of work not clearly defined? Did the provider just not do a good enough job or could it have been better?

In most cases if there is a problem, it can be corrected right away, even on site. But… you have to say something immediately, a simple question can do wonders. Bottom line, talk about it, and quick, like ASAP. Ultimately the Service Provider is responsible/liable for all aspects of the service, this is why the review process exists. but remember we're here to help however we can.
